My Funny Hubby

Our one year anniversary is coming up, which is the "paper" anniversary. In keeping with the theme, I got him a jar of paper notes (yeah he'll be so excited? hah hah).. and also I hand-painted a picture frame for him and put a picture of me in it. I'mmmmm soooo vaaaain. When we were dating early on I would paint him pictures to decorate his dorm room.. he liked that.

So this week I had paint on my hands, and we're on a smoke break outside and he says "What is that?" I said.. "Paint!" and he asks what I painted.. I said "..Paint!". Somehow this turns into a rant. He goes "You are all mysterious, keeping secrets from me.. you have a blog I can't read.." Which is untrue, I just won't send him the link. It's bookmarked on my computer-we both know it- if he really wants to see it he just has to look!! ".. you hide your computer screen when I come by.." Only for LBT and my blog. I don't want him looking over my shoulders when I'm thinking about typing stuff.. he has his input and it pisses me off. Teehee? "..and now won't tell me what you're painting!".
I just said.. "You're right, I'm just a big ol' book of secrets". Pff, yeah right. Hopefully he feels a little bad about being a pissant because I wouldn't tell him I was painting him a picture frame for our anniversary!!!!!!!
For Valentine's day we always go to Pauli's, this fancy NUMMY restaurant in town.. now we have this fancy schmancy outdoor mall that opened up with a lot of high-class restaurants, so I called one yesterday and made reservations for our Anniversary *7/7!*. I told Russell and he goes "WOMAN.. that's a man's job". Wooooah. Now if you live with a man, you know how forgetful they are. If I didn't do it, odds are it wasn't going to get done. He won't tell me where, he just said he handled it. Yay for him.. although I could bet money he hasn't yet, he just remembered when I said that and now he's going to handle it.

Had some real "Small world" things going on in myspace. I don't really use it, I log in to check messages, and that's about it. The other day my mom told me to look for this girl, that I literally grew up with.. we were 1 week apart, our moms were best friends so for the first 7 years of our lives we thought we were twins! Then our moms fell-out and I never saw her again. So we talked on myspace, very exciting, we're going to meet up next week. She's married, just had a baby (I so jealous.. my turn my turn).
But while looking at her myspace, she says "So and so" introduced her to her husband. So and so is someone I went to Australia with on foreign exchange when I was 14. What a small frickin world? And just to realize the exceptional-ness of this, we all live in different cities!!!

Weight is still being lost, slowly, but going down. I'm not working it. It's working me. I do drink a lot of water.. yeah, I'll give kudos to me.. I am losing weight cause I'm always thirsty. Hah!!
